The Euro Ca'davre Ensemble formed in 2002 as part of the "One Night In The Well" theatre initiative, where they seduced La Mama audiences and critics alike with their fiery approach to tango.
Comprising of five young talented musicians, they are drawn to works outside the standard classical repertoire, choosing instead music that reflects their own passion for artistic zest and flair.
Ranging from jazz to folk, rumba to ragtime, they find inspiration in genres that both represent their diverse influences and interests, and allow for fresh, innovative interpretation.
Having performed on many occasions at galleries, festivals, on film scores, sessional recordings, theatrical productions and in restaurants, Euro Ca'davre's classical background is reflected in their absolute professionalism and commitment to the highest musical standards.
All this and the group still manages to offer the listener something more personal and vivid than mainstream ensembles.
