Ron Barassi is regarded by many people as the greatest ever Australian Rules Coach. As a player Barassi participated in over 250 League Games which included six VFL (now AFL) Premierships with Melbourne Football Club. Barassi was always noted for his incredible desire, determination and will to win, and throughout the 70's was the 'number one' coach of the VFL.
In the early 80's Barassi coached at the Melbourne Football Club and then limited his football commitments to the media - Channel Seven, 3AW and the Herald Sun. Barassi never lost his desire to succeed and achieve, and as a result, in 1993 took on the arduous task of trying to revitalise the ailing Sydney Swans, which in turn he achieved.
Barassi now occupies himself with a wide variety of business, media and personal interests, which include a lucrative public-speaking career and an on-air role at Fox Footy.
Ron has spoken to numerous corporations around Australia, relating the principles and techniques that bring out your 'super best'. A remarkable man with a remarkable story, Ron Barassi is a motivational master and is available to host or speak at your event!
